About curriculum

Why IBDP Physics Matters
IBDP Physics is a comprehensive course that focuses on building skills in analysis. Our course lays the foundation on conceptual understanding, problem solving abilities. This course lays the foundation for students to develop analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a scientific mindset. These skills are not only essential for academic success but also invaluable in various professional fields. By preparing for IBDP students are encouraged to approach problems to think critically, approach problems methodically, and appreciate the intricate workings of the natural world.
What is the structure of IBDP Physics Curriculum
The IBDP Physics curriculum has recently undergone revisions, with a focus on reducing content volume and emphasizing conceptual understanding. The curriculum is now organized around five main themes: Space, Time and Motion; The Particular Nature of Matter; Wave Behaviour; Fields; and Nuclear and Quantum Physics. Each theme is further divided into topics that explore specific aspects in detail. The curriculum also emphasizes the development of practical and critical thinking skills, preparing students for real-world applications of physics.
